Kevin Vuong is a former parliamentarian, previously serving in Canada’s House of Commons from 2021 to 2025. As a first-time father, he did not seek re-election and continues his public service at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute where he is a Senior Fellow and as an entrepreneur, investor, and military reserve officer.

 

As the youngest Member of Parliament of Asian heritage elected to the 44th Parliament, Kevin was active in combating foreign interference, hate and antisemitism, as well as advocating for reforms in immigration and working with other orders of government to address the need to protect children from drug injection sites. He also served on the Executive Committee for Canada’s Parliamentary Network to the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, and the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China where he now serves on the Alumni Council. Prior to his election, Kevin was chief operating officer at Delphic Research Group, a policy intelligence technology company.

 

For his service and impact, Kevin was appointed by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg a NATO 2030 Young Leader in 2020; a medallist of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as HM The Queen’s Young Leader for Canada in 2017; and Canada’s Top 30 Under 30 in 2016.

For his service and impact, Kevin was appointed by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg a NATO 2030 Young Leader in 2020; a medallist of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as HM The Queen’s Young Leader for Canada in 2017; and Canada’s Top 30 Under 30 in 2016.
