Lainie is a registered social worker with over 25 years of experience in medical social work and counselling. She graduated from Wurzeiler School of Social Work in New York and has practiced in oncology and palliative care for the majority of her career. She has a particular interest in bereavement counselling and believes that counselling can help us maintain our connection to those we have lost in a way that promotes healthy integration of our experience. She work at the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital and also has a private practice.
