Taryn Fisher is Head of Communications & Corporate Affairs for the Estee Lauder Company in Canada. She is a skilled communications leader with over 15+ years of experience spanning employee engagement, team leadership, brand strategy, consumer communications, social media relations, crisis management, government relations & corporate affairs.


Taryn currently sits on the Estee Lauder Companies Canada Pension Fund Board and heads up the Mentorship program developing up & coming talented individuals.  She is also on the committee for Arthritis Canada.


Her global experience and expertise stems from working in various international markets (North America, Europe & South Africa), and is focused on leading regional and brand communications within retail, consumer, beauty, fashion, streaming / television, travel & lifestyle PR with a special focus on luxury brands.


She has built actionable strategic plans that increase EMV, consumer acquisition & retention while strengthening emotional connection, digital & online sales with a focus on media strategies that talk to earned, owned and paid on a 360 platform.


She is a strategic consular to the executive leadership team (C-Suite) and works closely with marketing & operations teams on various brands ensuring effective short/ long-term comms plans to amplify the unique identity and equity of the brand, support consumer, business and launch priorities / growth through relevant, impactful storytelling, editorial initiatives, event activations and engagement. 


Priorities include collaborative relationships with media, editors, influencers, retailers, cultural opinion leaders, stakeholders, and tastemakers with an ultimate focus on multi-ethnic, ageless, cultural, generational, and regional nuances. 



With both agency (12 years) and corporate head office experience (9 years), Taryn has best practices to achieve objectives, goals and KPI’s with a great insight into the day-to-day business acumen of any company.


Previous experience through her own PR agency includes the following global brands: The L’Oréal Company, fashion brands, LVMH, Hackett, Lee Cooper, Timberland, The Walt Disney Company and their pillar brands, The Kellogg’s Company, Aston Martin, MINI, Estée Lauder Companies, Discovery Networks and the luxury hospitality Group Belmont & Intercontinental. 


She is a polished business leader that demonstrates, agility, flexibility, and strategic thinking and who can pivot quickly in an ever changing & dynamic environment.
