David Carsley

David is currently the Head of Industry for the Auto vertical in Canada’s Large Customer Sales Group, leading a team that helps the country’s largest advertisers and their agency partners get the most out of Google’s products and platforms. David joined Google in late 2014. Over the course of his career, he has helped digitally transform businesses across the financial services, retail and CPG categories. Prior to this, he spent several years in radio broadcasting and TV production. 

David's personal passion is upskilling individuals and teams on emotional intelligence. He has delivered workshops on this subject throughout North America to help others discover the benefits of improving their EQ. He's also an outspoken advocate for normalizing conversations about infertility - something he experienced first-hand over a six year period. 

Outside of work, David lives in Oakville with his wife Leora, his daughter Lainey and their two dogs Brella and Gilligan. He's an avid skier in the winter and loves being on the water in the summer.
